Both topics are closely related with human rights protection and the development within Member States.Topic A deals with a relatively intense issue in which we have to alter the current status, while Topic B aims as establishing systems for sustainable development of each countries to ensuring decent livelihood of residents. OIC, as an important role within parts of Asia where various VNSAs exist, is aiming at addressing the conditions leading to the growth of VNSAs. PKO and sanctions are the two major means of the SC to regulate Member States from their non-compliance of their obligations, and without these method being efficient and effective, the SC cannot enforce Member States to abide by their obligations. Illicit flows of SALW, on the other hand, causes serious damage to the harmony of the international society, as well as human rights violations due to their mobility and other characteristics; thus, the UN has constantly called for more attention in this area.
